Description

Did you know that the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) accesses Year 12 examinations in a number of 'community' languages (see below) from other states? Or that, along with the background language courses in French, German and Italian, students can either:

  • study these languages in Year 11 and Year 12 as part of school program or through a community language school working with a school?
  • sit the external examination in one of these languages in Year 12 as a non-school candidate?

Join Hanneke Rekelhof, from the Authority, to learn more about the range of langauges and the options available to students. Or, if you are a teacher at a community languages school, how your school could cater for students interested in enrolling in one of the Interstate Languages or French, German and Italian background language courses.
